Gerald Powell was a fairly prolific illustrator of pulp-esque art in the 1970's, publishing numerous paperback and magazine covers in the crime and western genres. The Bushwackers was a western published by Major Books in 1977, who Gerald Powell did numerous covers for.
Painted in acrylic on illustration board, this painting measures 20" wide by 30" in height, and is framed and matted to 24" by 36". I also have a copy of the paperback.
