Hi, Mister Ewok, glad to see you received the piece ! I had purchased it from Anthony Snyder in May 2003, the year I started collecting original art, remember he had one more similar piece with sketches for sale. Unfortunately can't tell if it was published somewhere.

Thanks for the info. This piece Im sure was published because that's how I recognized it. But I haven't seen the book in years unfortunately. My mind is telling me its in a book where someone talks about Simon spilling ink and moving it around with his fingers and making something out of the mess... Maybe that rings a bell to anyone? Again, I might still be wrong about that. Anyways Kirill, Thanks for the piece. I got it framed up.

Yeah, that anecdote you mention about biz spilling the ink is from Alan Grant's forward in The Intense Art of Simon Bisley book by Verotik. None of these awesome sketches were in there tho.

I might have mixed my memory wires up, I have another drawing that was published in that book, that Ive seen also in a painted version. Again Im guessing I mixed up a few different art vs book memories. Thanks for the insight.
