DescriptionThis amazingly detailed double-page splash is the opening title page to the Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #2 - an underrated miniseries about the lives of Cyclops and Jean Grey in the future.This splash shows Redd and Slym (Jean and Scott) with young Nathan travelling to a new home. They have been travelling a lot as they raise their "son" Nathan Dayspring to one day overthrow Apocalypse. I read this issue off the stands in 1994 and remember being mesmerized by this spread in particular. Such detail! One of the first pages I looked at as "artwork" rather than just part of the story. I've been looking for this splash ever since I began collecting original art and finally found it down at the San Diego Comic-con! Social/Sharing |
