I will not lie. It took me a long time (far too long) to realize how awesome Sal Buscema is. At the time I started reading comics he just wasn't held in high regard. It wasn't until maybe 7, 8, years ago that I learned how good he really is and, probably more importantly, how many stories I remember from my childhood he drew. I've been looking for a while for anything from those early Hulk issues (well, early for me). I've seen a handful of pages from the issues that I know pop up but there were clearly pieces of the story, and rather expensive. To have come across this page is a truly great find for me.

I love how this is just pure Woodgod. Outside of his battle with the Hulk this is probably his finest moment. A one note character whose time has come and gone but cool at the time. And signed by Sal. A big thanks to Eelco for this one.

Beautiful blast from the past! Good old Woodgod - and Sal renders him magnificently. That middle landscape panel is just bursting with dynamism!
