Description

This sketch was done for me at my local comic book store's "Not at Comic Con Comic Con 2012" event by Dawn Best. One of the main reasons I was drawn to her artwork in the comics was because of the way she drew the echidna characters, especially Knuckles and Dimitri. To me, there aren't a lot of artists that can get their expressions "just right" (even currently in the comics), and Dawn Best was always one of the ones that could. This sketch is a perfect example of why I love her Sonic artwork so much; it's a mix between "classic" and "modern" style, Knuckles expression is spot-on, and he's in a cool action pose with his dreadlocks going everywhere. This has to be one of my favorite drawings of my all-time favorite video game character!
