Description

Batman by Ron Salas

Brane has been around since the 1940's, appearing sporadically whenever someone remembers that he exists, I guess. He is a descendant of Bruce Wayne and has teamed up with Bruce and Dick Grayson a couple of times. He knows weird things such as "scientific massage" and he once gave Bruce a time radio so that they could call him if they ever needed help in the past. I love this dude and his crazy old stories and I wish he'd show up more often. Anyway, Ron drew him based on his latest design, though he changed it a bit to add some armor. I love it. I have no idea what he fires out of his palms but I'm glad Ron has him doing it here, since that's an ability unique to Brane. And the pose is really dynamic. Thanks again to Ron for making all of these Batmen so awesome-looking!

You'll be doing Brane as well? I think he was featured in a dystopian future in Batman #700.

I do not subscribe to the theory that there are two separate guys named Brane in the 30th/31st Century who became Batman. This is the only Brane, though he's had many looks. Only my opinion, of course. :)
