Description

Art Adams was a featured guest at the first Space City Comic Con in Houston Texas on August 10-12.

I was unable to get there on Friday and on Saturday I was a bit late. I'd thought about asking Art for a drawing, but wasn't sure what to get or what it would cost. About the time I was about to ask, he left for the men's room.

I wandered off to talk to Nick Pitarra (Red Wing, Manhattan Projects). Nick showed me an awesome Lone Ranger image that Art did for $100 (his normal rate for head shots). It was amazing!

So, back to Art's table to make the request. He said okay, but the odds weren't good. I asked for Longshot or a Monster - his choice.

I got a monstrous drawing!

No doubt the artist was happy to scribble "Grogg" or whatever you wanted on it (and even throw in some horns and scales) but this is clearly a self-portrait by Mr Adams. Good score.
