Description

This dynamic double page splash features the Star Spangled Avenger using his original shield as drawn by Ron Garney and inked by Bob Wiacek. From issue 3 of CAPTAIN AMERICA (Vol. 3), these are pages 18 and 19 and were originally published in 1998. This piece was originally signed by Ron Garney in 1998 and was signed again recently when he added it to the HeroesCon Art Auction. The knock-off "Superman" in the background was originally drawn as Superman and was later changed with paste-ups. Just an all around awesome DPS!!
