The Six Dollar Man painted Wacky Packages art by David Gross

As a child in the 1970's there were so many great things that sparked my imagination and I am very nostalgic for: Star Wars, Happy Days, Burt Reynolds flicks, Mel Brooks, and especially "The Six Million Dollar Man" it was a great series for a young kid and it made for some of my favorite toys.


I also loved Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids.

When I saw this piece offered by the Topps Vault, I realized I was trapped by the perfect storm of nostalgic happiness. Painted by David Gross for Topps this piece was used in their "Old School" line. Funny. It feels like yesterday to me.
