Description

From my series of Marvel Two in One "what if?" commissions of team up books that never were but really should have been featuring the ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing, John Carter (Warlord of Mars), and Werewolf by Night.

I had the great pleasure of dealing with Scott McDaniel for the first time during the making of this drawing. Scott was phenomenal to deal with - perfect communication, helpful, eager to make sure I was happy with my commission, and on and on. Scott gets my highest possible recommendation.

In this scene, I asked Scott to show an aerial battle with our heroes mixing it up amongst airships that are stealing Earth's water. Scott sent me three thumbnails to choose from and, really, I would've made the right choice with any of them.

Last, but not least, the ever-amazing Bob Almond finished this drawing with his usual top class inks. I am not worthy.

Both commissions were set up directly with the respective artists.

I would have bought this comic in a heartbeat! What a cool idea. And I love the Werewolf's space suit. Great job!

This is a thing of beauty. So nice!!!!! Congrats on a GREAT commission. Bob did such an amazing job with Scott's pencils.

This team-up may have never appeared in an actual comic, but it sure as heck should have. The incomparable imagination of the great Brian Sagar combined with the incredible talents of McDaniel and Almond.
