I was a big fan of the Blue Devil series as I liked the mix of Hollywood, comic action, mystical elements, and the overall humor of the series. I hadn't realized Gil Kane stepped in on the artwork after Paris Cullins, but this is just cool. What acool page of art.

I was a big fan of the series. It used humour rather well and never took itself too seriously, although I do think it strayed a bit in the 2nd year of the series. Gil only did one issue of the series, so I thought this would be my chance to own a page of his that mattered to me, and that I could actually afford.
