Description
Two pages from Marvel Team-Up #23 drawn side by side on an art board turned sideways. If anyone has any insight into why this was done and how often, I'd appreciate it!

If you like you can cut it in half and give me one of them. -just kidding. wonderful example of Gil Kane and his fantastic use of layouts and form on a page.

I had a similar page from Marvel Team Up 22 by Sal Buscema that also had 2 pages drawn on one board. I asked Sal about this years ago and he said it was a cost cutting method by Marvel at that time in the early 70's. I have seen one another page by Sal from Avengers 127 that had this same format.

Thanks! From what I've heard, it does appear this was a short-lived cost cutting method, done once an issue for a brief time. Fun little piece of history!
