I picked up this page (and another) from artist Jeff Moy at the 1996 Chicago Comic Con. I only had one or two pages in my original art collection at the time, and Moy's page prices were so cheap, I opted to buy two of them. But there were so many. Which two? I settled on a couple that featured a lot of characters but also had overlays. I was fascinated with the process, and I figured the overlays gave me a greater glimpse at the process and offered a little extra art. I've since changed my mind about picking up pages with overlays. I find they... get in the way (even though they provide cool holographic and lightning effects in the finished product).

That being said, this is a fun page featuring lots of Legionnaires. I find it interesting to compare this one with the other Moy page in my collection, as they're inked by different artists. You can really see the difference. Furthermore, I think one can see the difference a year makes in the style of a young artist early in his career.
