Description

This is the second of two pages I picked up from Jeff Moy at a con in 1996. This one has an overlay as well to convey Cosmic Boy's magnetism. Moy's partnered here with inker W.C. Carani, and the pair had a long and enjoyable run as the art team on this title. I love the brightness and softer lines of their work, a refreshing change of pace in a grim-and-gritty era of comics (which has really been ongoing since the mid to late 1980s).

This particular issue was a part of DC's Underworld Unleashed event, introducing us to an amped-up Chronos. I really liked the new design offered up here, and it's a shame it didn't last. It certainly seems more... villainous and stylish than the original Silver Age look.
