IMO Joe's best writing from the end of his long career and Grandenetti did a great job on the art. Congrats.

I remember buying this issue when it came out. Not something I'd usually go for but it looked interesting and that cover image is something I never forgot! Congrats!
Late to the party on this — just seeing it now — but what a fantastic get! I remember seeing the ads for this in Bronze Age back issues & basically thinking a child's version of WTF. It looked so... busy. And no superheroes? No thank you. Now I see at it as a perfect snapshot of that particular moment, both in comics & America generally.
H have always liked this cover, never read the book. The art looks very Kirby inspired.
Beautiful piece which really captured the mood of the nation at the time it came out.
A wild and weird idea by Simon, and Grandinetti was the perfect artist to depict the craziness. So much fun.
