DescriptionThis was the first turtle I focused on for this project, even though Donatello was in part 1. For Leo, I wanted to focus on body language. This is the leader of the group; the elder brother who pushes himself harder than even Raph to be able to carry three other siblings through chaotic situations and difficult battles. In many ways he is an amalgam of all the turtles' distinct personalities, which makes him pretty well-balanced. That is why I chose to go with a pose that conveyed that balanced, cool-under-pressure demeanor. He doesn't have to be gritting his teeth and have both swords unsheathed. Understand that at this point I was still debating whether to go with the classic knee and elbow pads, or the current bandaged knees and elbows.Social/Sharing |
