Description

This was a commission piece I dug out of hiding dating all the way back to April of this year. I tried and tried over and over to reach the buyer, but I guess he is no longer interested. Anyway...
I really wanted to put the viewer into a place and time with this one... that place being inside the head of an elderly lady who has opened her curtains to find Spidey outside, walking up her building with two masked thugs in hand. The time being... now I guess... or yesterday... tomorrow... I dunno... at least I got the place part taken care of.
I picture this little old lady being one of those that we have all seen... too much makeup and jewelry, maybe a retired actress living out her golden years in comfort in a posh Manhatten townhouse somewhere. One of those very people who would call Spidey a menace and a nuissance. Until they need his help that is!
No matter, Spiderman will still do his job and keep the streets safe... for ALL of us! Even those old busybodies who have no respect for your "friendly neighborhood Spiderman".
