DescriptionI came across these 2 painted Plasm pieces and had to pick them up as I loved this issue, which was released as a trading card set. The original art from this issue is hard to find, so even though these are painted over copies, they are original Plasm #0 artwork and David Lapham signed them at the bottom.The issue credits the colors to "Painted by Janet Jackson and the Defiant Studio" and these two were done by Marcus David. More than simple "color guides on crappy paper," these are painted pages on 10x14 bristol using the same hand painted look that JJ and Jim Shooter pioneered at Valiant before they left to start Defiant. (and even later, Broadway Comics) Both pages have clear overlays that have the text on them, so see below for that and the published page. Social/Sharing |
