Firebreather by
Derec Donovan
Derec remains my go-to guy for anything in the world I want drawn and this is yet another example of why. This piece started off as a black and white sketch but Derec later decided to put some watercolors on it and I'm so glad he did. I love Duncan's pose here, the scary look on his face, the moss-covered ruins he's perched on, the little injury on his left wing, the fog effects, and just all of it. Can't thank Derec enough for this one!
