Description
Bob Brown and Klaus Janson : Daredevil #125, page 15 (Marvel, 1975). DD appears in every panel of this Bronze Age gem from "Vengeance Is the Copperhead" where Daredevil takes on an old pulp hero, who puts pennies on the eyes of the criminals he kills. Image area 10" x 15". DD has had many fine artist teams over the years, but the Bob Brown stories embellished by Klaus Janson belong to the very best in my book. Maybe because I picked up these comics from the newsstand in 1975-76 when I worked in New Zealand for a few years.

Provenance: Heritage auction 2012.

This was a great story, and I agree that Klaus Janson was the perfect inker for Bob Brown on Daredevil. Congratulations on this excellent, DD-packed page!
