Description

Intact paper label reads: "Manufactured for Bullock's Wilshire by license arrangement with Walter E. Disney creator of Mickey Mouse". Bullock's Wilshire was a large department store in Los Angeles, California. In my opinion the doll was sold only during the Christmas Holiday of c.1931 and was manufactured by the Geo. Borgfeldt & Co. of New York. This is the only example i have ever seen although others may have been packed away with the Christmas ornaments to be brought out the next Christmas. - I hope all the CAF readers have a Merry Christmas and find a wonderful toy or piece of original art during the upcoming year.
