Marvel published its second homage to the
Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the summer of 1993. Set in the appropriately exotic locale of Monster Island, the issue featured a broad array of heroes and villains drawn by the leading artists in Marvel's bullpen at that time, including rising stars such as Jim, Lee, Adam Hughes, Kevin Macguire, Joe Madureira and many more. X-Factor's government liaison Val Cooper graced the
last page of the issue courtesy of Adam Hughes. "All good things must end - but what an end!"
