Robin by Ron Salas

The first time I saw Robin's Earth-2 costume was in a issue of Crisis on Infinite Earths. I thought it looked really cool, mainly because it was new to me and he had long pants. Nowadays I'm not that big a fan of the yellow tights, but still think it was a step in the right direction. Anyway, I thought that the Earth-2 version of Dick Grayson had some cool appearances after the Batman of Earth-2 died, first in that awful Batman/Robin hybrid costume, and then when he just updated his own and teamed up with the Earth-1 Batman. I would have loved to have seen him mentor Jason and Tim, but that was not meant to be. Anyway, Ron came up with a great visual for Dick here, with him reflecting on his seemingly carefree days as the Boy Wonder. And I love his cape and the bats hovering around Dick. This is probably my favorite Robin commission so far. Thanks again, Ron!
