Description

Nice prologue page from episode #11 of this great series, featuring the famous North American P-51 Mustang. It was often used to escort the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (as is the 'Ace of Spades', protagonist of the story) during the WWII in Europe. In this case they will have to fight with the newest Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet, one of the most revolutionary combat aircrafts produced in those years and certainly the fastest: it could reach the amazing speed of 590 mph, compared with the 440 of the Mustang ... Not always the fastest is the best, though!
