A contemporary of Franklin Booth and working in much the same style, there seems to be very little information on this artist available. I believe he was born in 1880 and lived in Illinois. This piece certainly appears to be an illustration from a woman's magazine of the period. According to the inscription, it was gifted in 1916. If anyone knows more about this piece, the man or his work, please contact me.
