Batman & Joker by Cully Hamner

A fantastic duo piece by Cully, one of my favorite artist and impeccable storyteller.

The Batman-Joker interaction is priceless here. Batman is ever dead serious with the Joker seemingly enjoying his bloody beating. This makes me think of how they relationship was portrayed in Killing Joke :)

I must confess I'm not so fond of the marker marks that are a bit too visible for me here but again, the Joker's face and their interaction more than make up for it.

This piece changed owners two times and was listed on ebay for months before I pulled the trigger. Well, now it won't budge :)
