Original 2004 letter to an LA Underground figure, associated with William Burroughs and others. At right hand side is a reproduction of the original artwork Wilson did for a matchbook. He discusses this artwork at length, and mentions that not all of the artwork was reproduced for the matchbook, as the ladies in the company wouldnt work with it. Only the top portion was reproduced in the matchbook, the bottom part was never reproduced, and this artwork probably has never been reproduced anywhere. He also mentions Robert Crumb and Aline Kominsky artwork in New Yorker magazine, at left.
