I had been wanting to pick up a piece by Sarah Joncas for a while but hadn't quite found the right piece. When Sarah tweeted that this piece was listed in her etsy store I couldn't purchase it fast enough. It was exactly the kind of piece I was looking for.

The piece is absolutely gorgeous. There is just a simple elegance in the piece the way she rendered the hair as the mostly black and having all the detail in the rest of the face. A great piece I am pleased to own. Now I just need to get one of her paintings.
