Description

Apparently, Crandall was going to do a series of illustrations for a Time Machine text feature but it never got published. I love the texture he gives to the backgrounds of a lot of his work. Interesting walking trees here too.

According to Twomorrow's recent book on Crandall, this was done for Warren in 1972 but never published. On the other hand, editor Bill Pearson said Crandall never finished the series of illustrations because he died--but that was 1982! Makes no sense
