DescriptionI met Gary Gianni at the 2015 Spectrum Fantastic Art Live show. I was thrilled to finally have a chance to meet him and ask him to add to my Tom Strong jam. Gary drew a story in which Tom Strong visited the afterlife in his Phantom Auto-Gyro, witnessing a party attended by his mother and father.When I first read the story, I was not familiar with the work of Charles Dana Gibson. I did not realize until I took art classes that Tom Strong's mom was drawn in the style of a Gibson Girl, but I was really pleased to find that Tom Strong had foundations in classic art history. Gary did not bring his professional inking tools to the show, but he agreed to take my jam piece home to work on it and then mail it to me. It arrived safely and I love it! Thank you so much, Gary!
