Sorry about the scan..it's from a digital camera...These two paintings by the master artist, "Jose ( pepe ) Gonzalez" and the story from Vampirella # 12 are the gems of my humble collection...I never thought when I was a fan & a kid reading Vampi in the early 70's, that I would ever see any original art from this series, let alone own any--(it just blows my mind!).The Spanish artists of the 70's were every bit as good as the American artists, maybe even better--( and their art had to shine without the benefit of any color)............the draftsmanship, the design,the technique,--just amazing!

You're right Mike, those spanish guys had a thing... Hell, they HAVE a thing! in some other ways, look at the upcoming generation... They haven't given all their best yet! Classic craftmanship has always been a talent spanish artists are known for bringing to the highest peaks of excellence.
