DescriptionAn amazing image from master illustrator Al Williamson. Like Frazetta and Krenkel, Williamson had the incredible ability to capture movement in his art, as this piece clearly shows. Hard not to love everything about this one. Williamson drew this piece for a book entitled "Master of Adventure," which examined the literary work of Edgar Rice Burroughs, and was published by Canaveral Press in 1965. The art is titled "Carson Napier and the Klangan of Amtor," and the published version was inked by Reed Crandall using a light box, leaving these lovely pencils in-tact.Social/Sharing |

Another image of flight! I think there is a theme in your collection indeed. Lots of grace and nice energy in this piece. Are you going to bring it to dinner tomorrow night? Great pick-up, congrats Ben!
