Les Edwards wrote:
I loved the idea of Deep Ones shambling around ruined London. By using St Paul's in the background I hoped to evoke the famous wartime image of the Cathedral viewed through the smoke of the Blitz. Of course nothing says "London" like a red bus so I put a couple of those in. If you look closely you might just see that one was on its way to Ilford before disaster struck.
