Description

Once again, Zippy�s insight provides wistful affection for the past and a simpler time. The year was 1976- bell bottoms were still popular, Rocky was in movie theaters, Jimmie Carter was elected president, Steve Jobs founded Apple computers, and disco was on the airwaves- including the song that would rise to number 1 on the Billboard charts- Disco Duck! I believe that Rolling Stone magazine voted Disco Duck the worst song of the 70�s, but back then it wasn�t a 24/7 world, I rode my bike to the local swimming pool over the summer, and physically hung out with friends while bemoaning our �unhip� and �clueless� parents. As they say- the past is gone�.
