9" x 12" ink and watercolour

This was a request for a Death x Siouxsie Sioux x Victorian-Goth style (Sandman #21 page.5) kind of mashup.

As a huge fan of post-punk (particularly the British variety) reading Sandman is like stepping into a world filled with these musicians and unmistakable below the surface sub-cultures of 70-80s Britain. Death, or at least my Death, is Siouxsie Sioux.

Whilst it's not a likeness of Siouxsie (nor would I want it to be) I think it captures all of those essential elements into a beautiful final image.
