Description

How much do I love the Jonathan Hickman Fantastic Four run? THIS MUCH!!!! I've used all my leverage as Steve Epting's biggest fan to try to pry from his grasp a page from this series featuring Spider-Man in his Future Foundation costume, to no avail. I'm very pleased with this consolation prize, however; let me count the ways:
1) Dragon Man breaking his steadfast vow of nonviolence in the face of 2) an infestation of Annihilus' minions, 3) Ben Grimm granted his fondest wish at the most inopportune time, 4) Johnny Storm, THE HUMAN TORCH-- denied a bank loan, and FLAMED ON in his heroic last stand, 5) Artie and Leech kicking ass, 6) Valeria Richards taking charge in the field, despite her fear and tender age, 7) Bentley displaying the same anti-grav abilities as his biological dad The Wizard, 8) The Moloid trio mostly off-panel yet changed from comic relief to vulnerable children, 9) Alex Power manifesting his cool gravitic abilities, and 10) the fact that it was written and drawn by two men who I consider to be GIANTS in the field of comic art.

OUTSTANDING page from a brilliant run on ‘Fantastic Four’! Sincere congratulations for all the reasons you state, plus the fact that it’s just so darn LOVELY. :) Great pick up!
