Description11.7" x 16.5" (A3) digital layout and watercoloursAs most fans of Sean might know, he almost never takes commissions, so this was a very lucky shot in the dark. Admittedly I wasn't overly familiar with his work, but after meeting him last year I began to follow it and through some of the posts he shared on social media I knew he would be the perfect fit for a Rachael Tyrell commission. The original request was just for Rachael, in any format of Sean's choosing. Unexpectedly, and to my absolute joy, including Deckard and the Tyrell buildings, which really elevate the piece to heights I knew he would reach and then completely exceed my expectations. I think it serves as the perfect example of giving an artist a subject they love and not putting any constraints on the process or letting your own interpretations get in the way. A big thank you goes to Sean for finding the time to fit this into his schedule (as it was tight!) and doing such a wonderful job - it's the absolute highlight of my collection. Below is some of the process shared by Sean on social media, from the initial base painting to the original final:

I am a huge Blade Runner fan and not everyone can pull this theme off. Sean's take on it is gorgeous and respectful of the source material. An inspired choice of artist and theme.

Love it. One of the best Blade Runner Commissions I have seen in a long time.
