DescriptionI recreated one of my favorite comic covers and replaced the Human Torch with Carl Kolchak: the night stalker. Kolchak was one of my favorite TV shows. Pictured are Spider-Man, Morbius the vampire, and Kolchak, played by Darren McGavin, best known for being the dad in “A Christmas Story.”Social/Sharing |

This is awesome! The Night Stalker was one of the earliest TV shows I remember watching. Great pairing of the three.

Thank you for your comment. I'm a big Night Stalker fan. Such a fun show, mainly because of Darren McGavin. Wish they had done more. Some day I hope to recreate this or something similar in ink. Take care, Lou

Liking what I'm seeing. Superb page. Huge fan of Darren McGavin & Kolchak 'The Night Stalker' here. Very cool! :)

Thank you for your comment and the kind words. I 100% agree. Such a great show. I wish they had done some more seasons. Some day I hope to recreate this piece or something similar in ink. I think Kolchak could meet all of Marvel's monsters. ;-)

You're welcome friend. Wish I had your talent. And yeah, totally agree. Love the series including the two movies. But if there were to be any remake of the show today hope that they would keep faithful to the original character & series format rather than mess around as done with the reboot done a few years back. I think either Tommy Lee Jones or Brian Cranston would be great at playing Karl Kolchack. Both are exceptional straight & comedy actors And set it in the 1970s rather than today. 🙂
