Description

I have loved Kelley's art since he debuted on the Micronauts. When I saw he was going to be at Heroes, I got in touch to setup a commission. He has done so much great work, especially on Batman, Deadman, Swamp Thing and Sandman, that it was hard for me to decide what to ask for. I finally got it down to Batman or Deadman, and Kelley said "I always think Batman is good", so that's what I chose. Sadly, due to some airline shenanigans he was not able to get to Charlotte, but he said he would still do the commissions for everyone he promised them to, and true to his word, He got in touch shortly after Heroes and said mine was done! I am so thankful to him for producing this wonderful Batman for me!

Addendum 5/8/2023 - I had the opportunity to get another commission from Kelley this spring. I also sent the Batman by Kelley Jones Gallery Edition to get signed and remarqued by Kelley. So since I was already sending a gigantic book, I arranged with Kelley that I would send him this original and add the bat symbol to Batman's chest. You can see how it originally looked in the additional images.
