I'm in quarantine with my husband - who is a hair stylist for fashion - so looking back on this beautifully all blue penciled piece - just makes me appreciate the hair all the more, every girl and how it blows to the side (he would tell me that a leaf blower is the best way to get that hair to that in a picture) but I'm sure Nicola's Wonder Woman is standing on her plane or some tall building, ready to fly. She's majestic.

I remember Nicola just finished drawing her in Secret Six and was excited that she would be drawing her in Blackest Night Wonder Woman but she would end up being an iconic Wonder Woman artist.

This piece speaks for itself. Gail Simone (yes! I got to met her on Wonder Woman Day) looked around all the art that day and she, like many others, simply said "wow".

This for me was the grail of Wonder Woman Day.

Thanks Nicola for contributing to such a wonderful cause and for putting your heart into this gorgeous piece. I felt so fortunate to be the winner and am honored to be the caretaker of this work.
