Description

Since most of his work is digital now, CAFU commissions aren't easy to get. It's almost unimaginable, but this was completely done analog - without the use of a computer.

The choice for Batman was one we made together & he loves to do the Caped Crusader. With these heavy shadows, that stern look and those amazing grey tones, I think we made a great choice in the end. Commission was done at home and took a bit over an hour.

Everyone who looks at this piece in real life, thinks it's digital. Just how smooth the markers blend and how detailed it is.

We talked about doing either Spider-Man or Batman, and now I regret nog going with Spidey - or Scarlet Spider, because I later learned CAFU is a big fan of him, too. Size is a bit bigger than 9x12 - on a Valiant board.
