DescriptionJonny Quest was a show we both watched religiously when it came on in the mid-1960s. Wendy has said she learned much about the use of deep shadow from Doug Wildey's designs for the TV series. We met him years later at San Diego Comic-Con, and were fortunate to have his company for a long lunch filled with delightful conversation. Wendy was invited to draw an issue of Comico's "Jonny Quest" series in the 1980s, and we are lucky to have found this page from Wildey's own hand.Social/Sharing |

I agree with you! Wildey was such a talented artist and knew how to add depth so well with just the right touch of ink. I love these Jonny Quest Classics pages so much! Huge congrats on adding this one to your great collection!

Not sure how I missed this.. but a real masterpiece of story telling. The poses, the compositions and the colors are all just superb!
