It's a fair point that maybe our priorities are askew when we see that kind of money go down on a piece of comic art. Well I don't want to be a hypocrite as I've certainly dreamt of buying things I like if money were no object. These type of pages used to sell for values in the hundreds of dollars. I don't recognize our "hobby" anymore Peter. These prices suggest it's investment- business now. I haven't placed a bid at HA in over a year --theres no chance of winning.

No I'm not telling others how to spend their money but yeah $3.36 M seems obscene almost. 

Still congrats to the buyer if it makes him/her happy. I know the seller is. He turned down a cash offer of $250,000 for both Zeck Secret Wars pages sold in this auction. His patience paid off big time.
