Description

I first came across Jason's art on X-Men Annual 17 and he left a lasting impression on me. I have been a fan of his work for so many years so it was a thrill to finally get a chance to meet him at NYCC one year. I even followed him on Facebook. I was lucky to pick up this piece a couple of years ago and this has stood as one of my favorite pieces I own. It was heartbreaking when he passed away at such a young age. RIP Jason.

SCREEEEEEE! Very cool stylized exaggeration by Pearson, and I dig all that ink. The light source work is subtly excellent, and I like the flock of birds. Great commission. Congrats!

So sad to know that we won't be seeing anymore bold, dynamic, and powerful pieces like this one from such a brilliant artist. Rest in peace Jason. You will be missed more than you know.
