DescriptionSINISTER, MR. SINISTER. One of my top 3 mutant villians alongside Magneto and Apocalypse. This is the title splash to Xmen Legends 10. I reached out to Dan in January 2022 when I first saw the preview of the issue. Mr. Sinister splash pages are so hard to come by. Dan wanted to wait to have the art sent and sold thru his rep. There were ountless delays and I was losing hope 6 months later. Then I get an email from Dan letting me know it would be available at Heroes Con. Many thanks to my art bro James for tracking down and securing this piece for me. We started this hobby around similar times and glad to have become friends in this OA journey. Hoping to frame this above the wine stock.CHEERS! Social/Sharing |

Stunning! Mr.sinister splashes are quite rare and getting a title splash no less is even rare. Congrats brother!

It's absolutely killer! And my pleasure, it needed to be in your collection!

Awesome piece, one of the highlights of the issue ! It was great fun seeing Jurgens do an actual X-MEN book (his first?) and I hope to see more in the near future as his rendition of the mutants is simply fantastic !

Thanks Gal. It was definitely a fun read. You are correct, despite his DC veteran status, this was his first ever work on an xmen issue. This was from an article interviewing Dan.

Jurgens says when he was asked to draw the issue, he "couldn't possibly say no."
"After all, it's one of the few top drawer properties that I really haven't worked on,” he says. "The fact that it was written by my longtime pal Fabian Nicieza cemented the deal. We've always talked about working together but weren't able to make it happen—until now!"

Thanks Bill. Glad it was the traditional Sinister too. Not a big fan of his current look.

Thanks Simon. That's why I had to send James to strong arm folks if necessary!

Thanks James. Even though it was a long wait, I thought it was nice of Dan to remember and take the time to give me the heads up scout Heroes.

Ha! I saw James going back and forth with Spencer to get this page for you and he even convinced Scott Hanna to sell it after Spencer called him over. Sweet page!

Ooh, big congrats, man! I seen this one in person and it's tops. Perfect kind of "essence of the character" image for Sinister. Devilish smile, toasting to himself. At least I imagine :) A worthy add to the X baddie collection, my friend!
