DescriptionSometimes the original art gods smile on you…. And this cover is one of those times. I was not actively looking for a Bachalo X-men cover… honestly I assumed they were out of reach. I’m a big Bachalo fan .. but his art prices have escalated quickly and his primo X-men stuff is rarely available even at those numbers . Then by a stroke of pure luck someone put this cover up for auction on eBay and my friend Simon sent the link in a group chat we are in. I took a look and noticed even though it was an auction they had a make an offer option on it.. so I took a shot made an offer above the auction start and to my surprise they accepted!Onto the cover.. it’s an absolutely great example of a Bachalo cover.. Cyclops at this time was kind of having a bit of an identity crisis and Chris absolutely nailed that story line with the current version of cyclops destroying all the ones that came before! Townsend’s inks are almost dripping off the board and a hand drawn uncanny logo just makes it all the better! Social/Sharing |

Great cover, truly an Uncanny piece featuring some great Bachalo and Townsend work on these various Cyclops.

Congrats for getting this xmen cover. It is always a major accomplishment to cross off the list an artist or character you have been looking for.

Bonus points for a hand-drawn logo and Townsend inks, but one demerit for including Cyclops from the Ultimate universe (technically not part of Scott's past). Congrats on the get though!

The dynamic duo of Bachalo/Townsend doin' their thing once again! A great overall composition, and love them feathery inks. Cyke stands alone, and I dug that Bachalo uniform - big departure that worked well for the book! Congrats on a killer Bachalo cover, man!

Now I want to see Bachalo do a "Legion of Cyclopes" series where the team seeks to hook up with as many telepaths as possible.
