Love this version of Kurt (and Alan Davis did such a great job with it in Uncanny X-men #450). This is a great take on the character by Smitty. Actually very surprised that we don't see more drawings of the swashbuckling Nightcrawler. Fantastic piece! Congrats!

Just as Swashbuckling as when Cockrum drew him in the 1985 Nightcrawler mini series. He had hinted that side of his personaity with his affiny to Errol Flynn and being a circus performer. Paul Smith runs with this design and incorporates the other versions through the years. We still see the tortured look of the shadows on his face while having a playful pirate swagger.
