Description

Both my first Spider-Gwen themed artwork and my first Chris Stevens piece, so I get to cross two items off the list with this one. I really dig the juxtaposition of new and classic (complete with hairband!) depictions of Gwen in the image.

The illustration itself is about 11x9 inches and occupies the top half of a standard 11.5x17 inch sheet of bristol.

Pretty cool set of variants from that issue, but this one connecting back to the past event that Spider-Gwen wasn't even a part of is by far the most stand out amongst the pin up babe covers. Stevens' illustrations brings both the modern action pose and the classic Gwen. That big headband arch framing the Spider Gwen is a genius move and the stare of her eyes is the same that made us fall in love with her all those years ago.

Doubly good piece, with the zoomed in background head shot and the dynamic in-costume figure, just like you checked off both Chris and Spider-Gwen with this suh-weet, add! Congrats!
