Having done some, I know how difficult it would be to do a recreation of this. A magnificent recreation.

The process of creating this had to reverse engineer how JRJR did the original. Very cool line for line recreation for one of the major story arcs that tested Spidey's character against impossible odds.

I am NOT a recreation guy, but I remember how cool I thought this cover was when I bought the book, and this recreation is stellar!!

I'm utterly stunned by the line control in this recreation. The original piece, I believe, was created using a printing process that converts value created with washes into a line pattern, a mezzotint, or something similar. However, the recreation is done by hand! The artist's control and commitment are fantastic.
