i remember this run, especially the supergirl issues as being stand out to me when i was reading off the racks. i remember this particular page in fact, quite well. this and the guice dr strange i was always really blown away with his posing and draftsmanship.

Great splash! You can see Guice's style shifting to more realism and he's doing some experimenting too with the bottom left side, all in black.

AMAZING page! And I'm not a reader of Supergirl. I have no idea what's going on in this book, but that is the most hair I've ever seen on Lex!

The relationship between "Lex Luthor II" (a clone of Lex) and "Supergirl" (the protoplasmic shape-shifting Matrix) made for some really great reading ... and some really great art. Really beautiful splash, Riz, congrats!

I only noticed Butch Guice through his later Marvel work with Ed Brubaker but really appreciated his linework (but somehow never tried to chase down his older work... might have to rectify that now). This is just a perfectly rendered page from the hair, the folds in the clothing, the shading, the body language, and the expressions on their faces. Huge congrats on the pickup!
